When We Are Closed

Advice/Visits at Night and Weekends

If the surgery is closed please ring 111. They will signpost you to the most appropriate service including the GP out of hours service.

A doctor will either give you advice, arrange to see you at an emergency centre, or arrange a home visit. This service is for emergencies only and if your problem will wait until the surgery is next open then you will be advised to do so.

NHS 111

NHS 111 will give you advice about healthcare and illness 24 hours a day. They also have access to the Hub appointments and can book you into these.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
