Recycle your inhalers at Norwood Medical Centre

As part of the Greener Practice scheme, which works to improve sustainability in GP practices, we now have a recycling point for inhalers in order to safely recycle inhalers.
The propellants used in some inhalers are powerful greenhouse gases that contribute to climate change. Even after an inhaler is finished it still contains these environmentally harmful gases. These inhalers cannot be recycled or disposed of with household waste as they end up in the landfill and continue to release gases into the atmosphere.
Please bring in any empty inhalers to our new recycling point where they can be safely recycled!
